Yoga & Life Coaching

You are what you think you are.
If you change your thoughts, you can change what you do.
If you change what you do, you have changed who you are.
Simple!

Our senses are constantly absorbing information, but we are unaware of most of it until we decide to focus on it. To achieve our personal goals, we need to concentrate on our targets, not on our perceived failings. The art of concentration is a filtering process; choosing what to pay attention to, and what to ignore. Your personal development depends on what you choose to give your attention to.

Many people have very fixed ideas about what they can do, and what they can't. I hear that in the language they use when expressing their abilities and their reactions to people and events. Yoga very much encourages flexibility of mind as well as body. Regular yoga practice can free the mind from habitual patterns of behaving and thinking, allowing new and more positive patterns to emerge. Yoga explores the link between mind and body to deal with negative thinking, depression, and your responses to momentary irritation or frustration. Removing negative responses allows you to choose and direct more positive responses.

Yoga encourages people to relax into simplicity and to see the positives and the potential in themselves and others. Yoga visualization practices can help you to direct this positive outlook to encourage you to recognize and achieve your goals. Yoga asanas and pranayamas can give you the physical health to actualise those goals.
